I purchased 3 of these lamps for members of a Blind & Partially Sighted social club. Living in rural areas the members have quite a few power cuts leaving them vunerable to accidents whilst fumbling around in the dark. These lamps are now kept in a handy position for them to locate, wind up and have immediate light so that they can move around their houses with confidence. This item has proved to be a life saver for them and all 3 members are thrilled with their purchase. I am sure I will be purchasing more for other members. I would highly recommend this item for emergencies.
